Ann Alyse's First Hair Cut

Ann Alyse had her first hair cut a few weeks ago. This was no ordinary hair cut. We went to a place called Glitz and Glam, a salon for girls. As soon as we walked in, Ann Alyse got a little robe put on her and she sat in a chair to wait for her station to get ready. She was so excited to read a princess magazine while her hair was cut. Afterwards, Ann Alyse's stylist let her sprinkle glitter in her hair! Oh, what fun!

Then, came another exciting part....painting finger nails! Ann Alyse got to choose her own color. Of course, blue was first on the list, but Mama prompted her towards the pinks because it matched her clothes better. After conceding to pink, Ann Alyse sat on the couch and draped her hands over the table like she had been getting manicures for 20 years. What a diva!

It was such a fun time and Ann Alyse was so proud of her glitter and painted finger nails!

Fall Festival

This year, Ann Alyse and Avery dressed up together as candy corn. I thought about making a bubble suit that resembled candy corn, but opted not to since TX Halloween's have been very hot in the past. I was glad I chose the pants and shirt option because it was - once again - a warm one! We all went to our church's fall festival and had a blast! Ann Alyse really loved playing all the games and bouncing in the jumpers. We all rode the train and Avery had lots of fun with that!
We got way too much candy and Ann Alyse found her passion! She now tells me that she NEEDS candy. It's moved from a want to a desperate need!

Little Miss America!

It's been a while since I've posted something, so I'll probably end up posting lots of pictures of the next few days.
This time, though, I have to show off Ann Alyse's cosmotology skills...and to think that she isn't even certified with the state yet! :-)
Ann Alyse loves putting on make-up while Mama is doing hers. This day, though, we decided to let her go all out! As you can see, eye shadow was everywhere! She is such a little prissy pot!
